The basic principle of induction motor operation is based on the electromagnetic induction between the stator and rotor of the electric vehicle motor, and the induction motor is placed in the rotating magnetic field, and the rotor rotates due to the action of eddy current. When the induction motor is running, the stator winding is connected to the AC power supply, and the rotor winding itself is short-circuited, and due to electromagnetic induction, electromotive force and current are generated in the rotor winding, thereby generating electromagnetic torque. Induction motor is the most widely used asynchronous motor. Asynchronous motor is a kind of AC motor that generally refers to the ratio of the speed of the load to the frequency of the connected power grid that is not a constant relationship. In some cases, induction motors can also be called asynchronous motors. The disadvantage of asynchronous motors is poor power factor. This is because when the asynchronous motor is running, it must absorb the reactive power from the grid, and its power factor is always less than 1.
